The Principal Investigators of CANCERDIP presented their findings at these two workshops, in the frame of the European Commission funded FP7 research project CANCERDIP.
These events were opened to all researches in the field, bringing them an opportunity to comment on the project progress and results, and to exchange the latest relevant findings in this topic.
MID - TERM WORKSHOP
DNA Methylomes in Health and Disease
The project organised a successful
mid-term workshop with more than 100
participants from 11 nations across
Europe and the USA.
The six Principal Investigators
of
the
project as well as the Advisory Board
members presented their latest findings
around the topic of “DNA Methylomes in
Health and Disease”.
At the Auditorium of the Duran I Reynals Hospital of IDIBELL, participants actively engaged in scientific discussions, which fuelled the project and its investigators’ ideas.
The Scientific Advisory Board members also assisted to the subsequent mid-term consortium meeting, and gave useful recommendations for all team members to keep the project further on track.

FINAL WORKSHOP
DNA Methylation: from Biology to Disease
After three years and a half of
team
work, the CANCERDIP
Project organised a highly
successful Final Workshop, at
the end of June 2011, with
the
participation of about one hundred
participants.
Dr Manel Esteller opened the
workshop by presenting the results
of the CANCERDIP project.
The Principal Investigators of the project presented their latest findings around the topic of "DNA Methylation: from Biology to Disease".
The questions made by the participants brought good content to start interesting scientific discussions in a good atmosphere.
